Who is Sensi Seeds?

Sensi Seeds aims to bring cannabis into the public domain.  In fact, The Dutch government chose Sensi Seeds genetics to develop the medicinal cannabis supplied by pharmacies.  These guys are no ordinary seed bank, they even have a museum,  the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum which welcomed over two million visitors from around the world.

In 1993 they opened a sister-company HempFlex.  Its aim was to develop new processing methods for hemp cultivation; these new innovations are now industry standards.

Over the years other sister companies have been created making Sensi Seeds one of the biggest players in the industry.

They offer regular seeds, feminized seeds, autoflowering seeds and state-of-the-art medical cannabis strains.

Some of the most popular strains included:

Afghan Kush: A potent Indica strain that originates from the Hindu Kush mountains. Afghan Kush is known for its relaxing and sedative effects – See here.

Sensi Seeds like to keep themselves busy, in addition to selling seeds they offer CBD products, branded merchandise and vaporizers.

Quality of the products

Product Quality
9.5/10

Renowned for excellent quality, the seeds are all handpicked and selected for their high germination rate.  They rigorously test with 90-100% of tested seeds germinating without problems.   This means that you're more likely to get a plant that grows into a healthy, mature plant.  They are multiple Cannabis Cup winners, which demonstrates they offered a standard.

Sensi seeds have bred some of the most famous strains, including Jack Herer!

Of all the people interviewed, everyone spoke highly of seed quality and germination rate.

Sensi Seeds Customer Support

Customer Support
9/10

Sensi Seeds customer service seems to be a mixed bag, ranging from average to excellent depending on who you speak to.  The Leaflypedia team have always found them to be excellent, their knowledgeable and friendly staff are available to answer your questions and help you with any problems you may have. Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 (CET), except for the bank holiday.

The website is extremely transparent and displays its reviews, with customers confirming they have cited 100% germinate rates.

The returns policy is the standard 14 days, i.e. you can cancel your order within 14 days after purchase (as long as the package is not damaged).

Promotions and deals

Promotions
9.5/10

Compared to other seed banks, Sensi Seeds do not run as many promotions; you basically get what you pay for.  High-quality seeds and total price.  Although FLASH SALES appear often and they have a loyalty programme for every 10th order placed, you’ll receive a gift of your choice. It’s their way of saying thank you for being a loyal customer!  They offer promos around holiday periods, although not as many as other seed banks.

CBD products on the other hand are regularly offering promos with buy one get one free.

Why trust us? Review Methodology

Why trust us? Review Methodology

When it comes to product/breeder/dispensary reviews, there is no one-size-fits-all methodology. However, there are six key areas the Leafypedia team reviews to ensure that each report is comprehensive and objective.

1) Reputation: A seed bank’s reputation is something that’s earned over time, through the quality of the products they offer and the level of customer service they provide. Before the Leafypedia team make any recommendations they measure:

  • The length of time they’ve been in business: A longer history usually indicates a more reputable company.
  • What kind of reviews they have: Look for both positive and negative reviews, and see what kind of feedback people are giving.
  • Their product offerings: See what kinds of seeds they offer, and whether they have a good selection.
  • Customer service: How easy is it to get in touch with them if you have questions or problems? Do they seem helpful and knowledgeable?

Taking all of these factors into account will help you make a decision about which cannabis seed bank should make it onto our “recommended” list.

2) Germination Guarantee: Depending on where you live, and whether germination is legal in your country (check your local laws), Seed Banks are generally given a higher rating if they offer the germination guarantee. Germination can take place anything between 12-72 hours so you’ll know very quickly if the seeds are good. Photographic evidence is normally required for this.

3) Stealth and Discreet Delivery: Stealth shipping is extremely important when packages are travelling overseas. Even if seeds are legal in your country, most people want their package to arrive discreetly.

4) Delivery Time: No one wants their package to arrive after six weeks… the quicker the shipping (some are 24hours), the higher the score.

5) Price: We review prices, promos, and loyalty programmes.

6) Payment options: We review all payment options on offer, bank transfers, crypto, visa etc, the more the better.
